The Lamb & Kid seeks to be a space of inspiration, whimsy, creativity, and community, so come and stay awhile! We are located in the previous Classic Cycle location at 740 Winslow Way East and are bringing the magic to that end of Winslow. Join us for Knit Nights every other Wed from 4-7pm including This Wednesday 10/26! We also have classes and so much more. All are welcome!
Sarah & Bob are the husband-and-wife team behind The Lamb & Kid. Sarah learned to knit in 2006 while waiting on a whitefish burger & tater tots, (an age-old story of girl meets craft) and after failing to find fibers & colors she was drawn to, she taught herself to dye the following year. A love affair with fiber, color, and the knitting community was born. With Bob’s encouragement, what began as a start-up out of her tiny kitchen in Michigan grew into a dynamic company. They sold that business and after a short sabbatical relocated to the Pacific Northwest in 2019 and started dreaming up a new venture. The Lamb & Kid opened its doors, in downtown Bainbridge summer of 2021. Sarah has stuck to her roots, creating novel & vibrant (and sometimes broody!) colorways, and continues to work with mills to create one-of-a-kind fibers and textures for her customers.
